Hes a thief!

Tuesday after work I decided to swing in to an antique dealer on Main St. I was looking for safety razors. Well, she had just finished telling me that they had none, and that there must be "some kind of movement" because they sold all of the ones that have been sitting there for 9 years with no interest. I informed her I was part of that movement. I was about to head out as another guy walks in to the store, she greets him by name, then whispers "I don't trust him" I chuckle thinking she is joking and it is her son or something. She asks me to write down my name and number so that she can call if they get razors in. I go to do so and she hands me a note that says "He's a thief!" She then says, "So, you gonna stick around, look around?" I stick around, and she has me follow the guy around. I tried to be casual about it, but it is 3 stories, and he did not want to be on the same floor as me. She told me to make it obvious, so I was following the guy up and down the stairs. He tried to swap some bowls around, so he could get a nice silver bowl for the price of a chipped one. She caught this. Finally he did end up buying something, but wanted to come back later to pick it up. The lady told me that this guy is known for lifting sterling silver. I talked to her for a bit, and felt really bad leaving, afraid he would come back. She told me if they get any razors in she would just give them to me and called me her hero. Later that night I got a call from the owner from the police office. I talk to her briefly and then to the officer taking the statement. The officer described the man as "a frequent flyer" All in all, it was pretty interesting. See my gallery for the note.
