Planters Cheez Balls/Curls


I still can't believe Planters stopped making Cheez Balls/Curls in the cans. I kept thinking I just was not looking in the right stores, but it is official. Planters hates customers. They were by far the best. I could get a giant tub of cheese balls at Sams club, but I would rather have the delicious goodness of the little can of balls for $.99, even if it would take 49 cans to fill one of those $3 tubs. And the curls were way better than Cheetos. I did see similar looking cans at Menards over the weekend, and was very excited, hoping that they bought that sector of Planters, and bought some. They are not anything like the originals. Just thought you should all be aware of my bitter feelings. Between that and lemon heads coming in a package that does not whistle anymore, I don't know what I am going to do.

  • the nice thing about the lemon head boxes was that I enjoyed eating the contents before using the whistle.

  • i just bought some myself and right when i opened and looked at them .... disappointment settled in...i knew they werent the same....sad sad day for cheese balls fans. i woulda rather not even known about this half ass attempt from Planters to bring them back.

  • why do they discontinue everything good and replace it with crap? What happened to lime lifesavers? OR speaking of lemon heads why doesn't ferrara pan co. make cherry clan candy anymore? Was it racist because of the slanty eyed cherries on the box or what.
