Fantasy Football Update #4

Week 3 has completed, and I don't really want to talk about it... But I will. I have been defeated. I traded a bunch of players in, and I was really excited to play my new guys because they had been doing well. Apparently doing well in the past is not a sign that they will continue to do well. I had been averaging about 74 points per week, this week I pulled off an astonishing 48. Player of the week: um, not on my team! Dishonorable mention: Buffalo defense. Thanks for making my off week 8 points worse. (not that I would have won anyway)

Fantasy Football update #3

At the risk of the scores changing on me and looking like an idiot, (again) I would like to Proclaim Victory! Another close match, but Drew Brees made up for the fact that T.O. was worthless. Don't give me that "but I am hurt" crap either... Get in there and score me some points! I did not see the Giants game, so I don't know Shockey's excuse, but I am sure it is equally lame. I am going to have to give this games MVP to Drew Brees, and MWP (most worthless player) to Shaud Williams. How do you expect to score any points for me on the bench Shaud!?!?! Back to Ali Williams with the weather.
"ITS GONNA RAIN!"

Extreme disappointment

I bought a box of Lemon Heads today, and was more than upset to find that the traditional boxes have been replaced with a similar box, but that opens and closes differently. I have known for years that the best part of Lemon heads, jaw breakers, red hots, and all Ferrara Pan candies is the box which could be used as a super annoying whistle. Imagine my disappointment today when I sat in my cubicle blowing into a box with no such annoying sounds. I imagine you can understand my frustration. Well, I suppose I will spend my quarter on some other candy. Good night Ferrara Pan, you had a good run.

Fantasy Football update #2

OK, I apologize for saying that T$ ruined my first Fantasy Football experience. It turns out that I ruined hers. Apparently it takes a while for the "official statistics" to be entered, so when I last updated I had lost by one, as of now I have won by two. I am sorry that they got your hopes up T$. As for me, I will be celebrating with a glass of the finest Bourbon, just like always.

Fantasy Football update #1

I have never been one to watch pro football, however this year I was talked into joining a fantasy football league. I actually have gotten in to it! I feel kind of strange rooting for players rather than teams, but it is fun none the less. I lost my first match up 68-69, so although I put up a fight, I must congratulate T$ on making my first experience with Fantasy Football a big disappointment. But seriously, it was a lot more fun than I had expected, but don't even try to talk me into fantasy Nascar. Until you get Jean Girard and Ricky Bobby out there, I am not interested.

Demands have been met

On May 10 of this year I demanded, on this very blog, that Police Squad be released on DVD. This has to be one of the all time greatest shows when it comes to visual comedy. Well today I got an e-mail letting me know that my demands have been met. Sure enough, Amazon is taking pre-orders for the entire series, (all 6 episodes) on DVD, and IN COLOR! on November 7. Between the Borat movie and this, the beginning of November is destined to be effing awesome! Thank you Paramount and Jim Abrahams for meeting my demands.
