Happy Hollidays!

I really don't have much to blog about, but I am pretty sure I won't be doing much for updates next week, so I wanted to wish you a Happy Holiday! I think I will spend much of my vacation (next week) working on fixing the drywall in my basement. When we moved in there was some mold on the bottom of the wall in my office, and I credited it to the fact that the previous owners never ran a dehumidifier. Anyway, before we moved in I cut off the drywall that was moldy and planned on replacing it someday down the line. Well, one of my good friends has donated a desk for my office, so I decided since I was going to be moving out my old desk, I might as well move everything out and fix the drywall. In the process I found out that our kitchen sink was draining into the floor drain in the basement, so after some emergency plumbing work, I think it is safe to repair my drywall, and it should stay dry now. No wet wall for me.
If anyone has any other ideas of anything else I can do next week, please feel free to contact me.

Borat, Fantasy Football, and UNI

Sorry about the delay with putting up a new post, I had a sudden barrage of comments after that last post, and I had to sift through them...

Some time ago, TSG revealed a number of pictures of the Frat boys that say Borat coaxed them in to drinking with him, and there was a common theme, they were drinking, with out Borat. Anyway, the court case is over and Borat won. I am really not seeing anyone win any of these cases, because it sounds like the waivers were pretty leak proof, including things like, I am cool with it if they totally make a fool out of me, and provide false identification information. Sacha Baron Cohen reportedly says, Thanks for the publicity!

I am going in to the fantasy football finals, but my first game is against my brother, so congratulations John on the win!

This is kind of old news, but UNI beat Iowa in the final minutes of the game. We played a pretty ugly game, but managed to turn it on when it counted. Thanks Eric Coleman for leading that one back. Please enjoy this picture of Haluska from the Des Moines Register

fantasy football, UNI vs Iowa, etc

First I want to thank everyone for all of the comments I have received lately. Although I get so many, I do actually personally read through each and every one of them. </sarcasm>
Tonight marks the last chance for me to win this weeks game in Fantasy Football. I am up by 10 right now, but it really is not looking good for me. Maybe this is what I get for rubbing it in Becky's face last time when I beat her. Next week is the last week of regular season play. If I win either this week or next I am going through to the finals. If I lose both games I can be found in the nearest dark alley crying.
Tuesday UNI plays Iowa, and we will be crowned state champions. It is good to be a Panther. I just wish I were going to the game. Anyone know the odds on this game? I am sure most Vegas bookies read this blog regularly. To Cedar Falls residents and UNI students: Do not let me catch you wearing Iowa gear.
Finally, No shave November is over, and the moustaches were quite fun. Stay tuned for some photographic updates.
