This guy put a $12,000 engagement ring in a balloon, so he could "pop" the question, and walked outside and let it blow away.  First of all, why did it need to be helium filled?   Second, a balloon with a $12,000 ring in it should be tied to your wrist or something. We found out we are having a boy!   We are very excited!   Both of his grandmas joined us for the ultrasound.  It was really neat to have them there for it.   We started getting his room ready for him too.  My sister Jenna came to visit us, and helped us pick out a paint color, and helped us paint. This was lovely, especially since we just put in over $100 in groceries the night before.  It was seriously room temperature in the refrigerator, but the freezer was cold.  Our fridge is an Admiral, which is made by Maytag.  Imagine how lucky I thought I was. It is a bummer that it had to end the way it did, but Congratulations to the team on a great season, and thanks to all of the seniors.  This Wednesday UNI mens basketball will take on Iowa at home.  I am pretty excited for this game.  We had a pretty impressive stand against Iowa State at Hilton.
